'Jenny Gräf Sheppard (of Metalux) and Chiara Giovando (of PCPCG and a bunch of other bands no ones ever heard of) sits quietly for its real audience in the ages. Both an alarmingly intense and hushed noise record and totally whacked songwriter record, if it needed a category, Enter the Cotton Ring is an exploratory Mack truck of left-hemisphere-manifestation-in-time. Unlike the majority of vocal-noise hybrids bubbling up lately, Gräf and Giovando reference neither sound poetry, nor metal (for the dudes) or jazz balladry (for the ladies) but instead a novel hybrid of dream-incantation, lieder and effects that electronics might achieve but how? An unsettling mix of vocal wrenching and mellifluousness, effected guitar twang fuckery and intuitive anti-system electronics, itll send you on a rapid shuttle-ferry on the space-time straits, compelling you to keeping chewing slowly.'---LABEL DESCRIPTION |

Excellent new 7 inch from David Jackman. You hear the hiss of a room, a piano note, metal being thrown around, and people singing far in the distance. Another amazing and kinda fucking creepy perfect 7 inch. 233 copies (on HEAVY vinyl), numbered on the label. Comes in a heavy matte-finished CMYK sleeve with a matching CMYK card insert and a 4 mil PVC bag. Although both sides of the record have the same running time and title they are subtly different. |

Outsiders at work here. First we have two men with beards, Greg & Ted. They sign?, recite poetry?, are plain insane? Me, My Dick & Your Vagina, Hell Heck, or, oh Two Beards. There is a bit of guitar playing? Percussive bits? But that might be something falling in the background on the floor, but then side B has drums and sound more musical than the other side (maybe even a live recording?). Not exactly the next Simon & Garfunkel (the only duo springing to mind right now, and it doesnt make much sense, but maybe the insanity of the record distracts me a bit). Maybe funded by institute in which they reside? Or perhaps just plain serious art? Musique brut thats what it is. Actually I enjoyed the total weirdness of it. 'Freak Animal is proud to present new full length CD of Grunt! Recorded between 2007-2009, making it longest recording task of project so far. Presenting some of the new sides of Grunt, but with the touch known from before. Exclusively Finnish language lyrics and samples, with themes related to history of Finland since early turbulent years of civil war to post WWII atmosphere. 64 minutes with 9 songs presenting wide variety of moods, sound sources, compositions, approaches, blended into album that could be said unique even in extensive Grunt discography! 'Ever give up on anything in your life? RUINER. New sounds and approach to presenting the theme of....well lets call it disappointment. Though this is a departure it does go back to the basics but with a much grittier/dirtier sound, much less precise - and for me its a big leap (just out of my personal preference/control issues) and ultimately thats what define's RUINER - a personal pursuit, a personal effort and a personal result. Disconnect. 2 studio tracks and one live from Osaka Japan. Its all over you.'---LABEL DESCRIPTION |

'Joke Lanz and his companions have spread their incredible sounds and actions in many tours across the world. Working in the area of experimental and free music, Sudden Infant is building up complex noise compositions using unconventional sound sources, lo-fi electronics and turntabels. Sudden Infant's music has a humorous and highly improvised character. The result is abrupt musique concrete juxtapositions of spasmodic gibbering and a battery of disorienting electronics. It's a fragmented field of sound that comes to it's own autonomy. This DVD includes two full length live shows of very different aproach. One fromNO TREND NOISE FESTIVAL from London, UK. And another from EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC FOR CHILDREN LIVE EVENT from AVANTO FESTIVAL, Helsinki, Finland. DVD also includes Video Interview. Total 60 minutes'---LABEL DESCRIPTION NTSC VERSION |

'This disc documents the highlights of their 2004 US tour with Howard Stelzer - both on and off the stage. Performances are summarized with abrasive guitar noise and augmented with audience banter and merch booth ponderings as the mics continue to run. 'Michigan master PBK has been making beautifully composed noise since I was in grade school and BMG - (aka Brent Gutzeit) should be known to most as CEO of Television Power Electric and as an established Kranky recording artist. These two have a wealth of knowledge in the experimental music realm and skills with almost as much range. With their vast combined talents, the gentlemen produce five uniquely diverse works here, spanning the borders of various subgenres and utlizing everything they could get their hands on. In their warped world guitars become gongs, computers are transformed into human hearts and vinyl breathes. Believe it.' ---LABEL DESCRIPTION |

'Scathing and unrelenting, a perverted mix of static, distortion and feedback that harkens back to the mid-90s heyday of loud, sleazy noise. Dog Holocaust is the collaborative effort of Nolan Throop (Kakerlak) and Dan Johansson (Sewer Election) and this CD is a reissue of their first three now-out-of-print cassettes. An absolute must for fans of Macronympha, Incapacitants, Cracksteel, Merzbow...'---LABEL DESCRIPTION |

'There are just a handful of newer, contemporary harsh noise artists in this day and age that have a firm grasp of the structures within the genre and how that can be manipulated to exert force upon the listener.... Anthony Shaw has a firm grasp of the harsh noise canvas and knows how to manipulate the listener with different bombardments and heavily timed lines of crashing, crunching, feed backing, and crumbling. All classic staples of the harsh noise entity, but not always executed today with such power and force; ultimately defining thunderous ‘harsh noise’ for the avid listener.' - Sam McKinlay (excerpt from liner notes)>br<>br<'Haemorrhaging Fetus' first LP is a fresh working on the rough stylings of classic acts such as Incapacitants and OVMN and compares favorably to contemporary peers The Cherry Point and The Rita. Transcending the staid boundaries of contemporary 'wall' noise, this record offers a deftly layered construction of harsh, considered composition. An edition of 250 copies reissuing two now out-of-print Gaping Hole cassettes.'---LABEL DESCRIPTION mp3 samples: Cankered Womb Excerpt |

'Ready To Do Damage is an album that seethes with malevolence. Sustained piercing feedback. Crashing and ripping metal. Distortion flaking off every corner. Dank. Violent. The A side contains a live collaboration (first ever for Mania) between these two artists, while side B holds a solo track from each. Mania has terrorized the noise/PE world since 2002 with releases on his own imprint Bitewerks, as well as Freak Animal, Harsh Head Rituals, Abisko, Vemod, and others. He resides in Texas in near total isolation and is certainly armed. Ryan Bloomer is currently a member of industrial scuzz unit Piss Horn. He lives in Canada, surrounded by amplifiers, and heads up the Traumatone organization, makers of noise devices most vile.--LABEL DESCRIPTION |
